Portal 2 Takes home Best Game at BAFTA Awards: Take that Skyrim!
Saturday night the British Academy of Film and Television Arts held its awards. To no surprise Portal 2 took home Best Game. Along with Best Game Portal 2 also took home awards for Best Design and Best Story. It’s good to see a game of this caliber recognized by the other half of the world that doesn’t have their head up their asses.
I was a bit disappointed when I watched the 2011 VGA’s and Game Of The Year went to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I’m sorry but Skryim is a great game in all but the story is nowhere near on par with Portal 2, Valve truly made a masterpiece with the second iteration. Hands down Valve has the best storytelling in gaming and this was much deserved, so bravo Valve! Check out the list below for some of the other awards that were handed out and let me know in the comments if you agree with the games that won.
