Team Fortress NEW Horde mode Now With 100% More Robots

Proof that Valve never lets a good game die. On August 15th, we will have the all new co-op horde mode, in which you will team up to fight waves of robots that are modeled after the current characters we know and love. The mode will feature a new map specially made for the co-op mode. While you’re busy mowing down hordes of robots, you will be able to collect loot that you may use to upgrade your weapons and abilities as you advance through the mode.

Just when I thought I was done with TF2, this comes along. Looks like it’s time to re-install TF2. When there’s hordes of robots to obliterate you don’t have to tell me twice. Check out the fancy new trailer Valve released to show off the upcoming new addition all put together on Valve’s Source Filmmaker.

Valve Releasing Free Movie Making Tool (Source Filmaker Video)

Valve will be releasing its beta of the Source Filmaker tool later this year, with the tool you can make short films with your PC free of charge. The video shows you the vast array of options provided by the tool giving the user plenty of options as far as video goes. When released this should make for some interesting short films by enthusiasts. Here is a statement released by Valve explaining the purpose of the tool:

The goal of the SFM was to develop a story telling tool that allowed us to create computer animated movies more efficiently, and with greater creative freedom,” said Valve designer Bay Raitt in a press release today. “Over the past five years, we’ve produced more than 50 animated shorts with the SFM. The Source Filmmaker will allow our community to create their own movies in Team Fortress 2 and in their own Source SDK-created mods.

Valve & Adult Swim Are Making A Baby?

They may not be making a baby but they are in collaboration on some sort of project involving TF2. My best guess maybe ATHF hats? Maybe playable Adult Swim characters whatever it is I’m sure it’s going to be awesome. The secret project is set to be revealed next week; here is an excerpt from Adult Swim’s website promoting the event:

Left 4 Dead 3: New Characters and Weapons

Rumor has it from Xbox Magazine UK that Valve is hard at work on the sequel to the Left 4 Dead franchise. Xbox Magazine predicts we will see all new characters and weapons. The game will also focus more on the storyline making it more like what we saw in Half-Life 2. Some other predictions include more advanced AI directing having the ability to change levels and manipulate map elements to make each time you play different from the last.

No word on a release date Valve is usually hush hush about when its games release. Rest assured when the game is announced it will not disappoint. Left 4 Dead is one of the most beloved horror franchises to date hopefully the third will outshine the first two.

Valve Working on Team Fortress 2 Secret Content

Word has come down that Valve is hard at work on some new Team Fortress 2 content. All that is known about the new content is “it isn’t a hat, it isn’t a map” and “it’s really cool”.

In addition to the new content, we will finally be receiving the final “Meet the” clip. Introducing the mysterious, flame retardant, being who burned his/her,its way into our hearts and beyond, the Pyro.
